What can I work on with my mentor?
That is entirely up to you and your mentor to decide! We ask questions to understand your goals (e.g. build leadership skills, improve in current role, explore a career change, improve work life balance) and skills (e.g. what technical skills you are wanting to build/what area of HR you want to learn more about) and then we recommend âbest fitâ mentors for you. We have suggested agendas and conversations topics but only you know what is best to discuss with your mentor based on your individual challenges and goals.
What CPD points are available?
Both mentees and mentors are eligible for 14 points via this six month mentoring program. This includes:
6 X 1 hour mentoring sessions
6 X 1 hour monthly webinars
5 X 15 min training modules
45 min launch kick off webinar

Eligibility to become a mentee
If you are a HR professional looking to stretch and challenge yourself with the help of a mentor â this mentoring opportunity is for you. You can be working in any aspect of HR and be at any career stage and age.
Eligibility to become a mentor
Weâre looking for HR professionals with at least 7 years of experience to be a mentor. We will recommend more experienced mentors to more experienced mentees and more junior mentors to more junior mentees. If you are looking to give back, to learn more about yourself and to improve your leadership/coaching skills, please sign up as a mentor. If you are having self-doubt about whether you have something to offer, trust us - you do. If youâve never mentored before, we will support you with specialised training and support.

Create an account and complete your sign up form with Brancher (sign up link available soon!)
We will launch the âfind a mentoring partnerâ opportunity on the Brancher platform in March 2023. Keep an eye on your email as youâll receive a notification when we open this access.
What are the technical sign up steps?
Join the program and create an account (email, password etc). You'll be sent a verification code to your email; check your junk if you don't receive it.
Complete the sign up form (questions about your career stage, skills, goals etc). You'll be directed here automatically once you have verified your account. This form allows us to present you with recommended mentoring partners, based on your preferences.
Login to the Brancher platform and while you're waiting for other people to sign up:
Complete your profile. This is what others will see when they're searching for a mentoring partner so it's super important you complete it! Make sure you upload a profile picture!
Complete the first training module. This is optional but recommended. It will take you 5 - 10 minutes and provide you with key information about this mentoring experience and what to expect.
Then... wait patiently until you can find a mentoring partner!

Who will I be matched with?
Brancherâs science-based matching algorithm means you will receive recommended mentors/mentees who are the best fit for you â based on your preferences.
Brancherâs matching algorithm takes into account your career stage, goals, skills, industry/area of work and importantly â your personal preferences and attributes through a confidential personality and values assessment.
What does the mentoring relationship involve?
We recommend meeting at least once per month for 6 months from March - Aug 2023. If the relationship starts fading out earlier than expected, make sure you have an open conversation with your mentoring partner about âwrapping upâ your relationship and click the âwrap upâ button in the Brancher platform to ensure you are both available for another mentoring relationship.
What is the time commitment?
We estimate a time commitment of 2 hours per month. This includes an hour meeting with your mentoring partner (this can be done virtually) and an additional hour of âself-workâ including preparing for the meeting and conducting follow up actions.
Is the offering really free?
Yes, we want to give back to the HR community who give so much to everyone else.
Will everyone be accepted into the mentoring platform?
We will do our best to accept as many applications as possible.

We will provide everyone with platform access as soon as we have a suitable number of users who have signed up. Keep an eye on your inbox for a notification soon.
Can I apply as both a mentee and a mentor?
Yes you can â provided you meet the eligibility criteria as outlined above. Simply fill out the form as both a mentee and mentor.
